to be notetakers during breakout sessions at the workshop.
Responsibilities: Sit in on an entire assigned breakout session and record
a reliable transcription of the discussions. Edit this material afterward
so that it is acceptable as draft report language, and attend the writing session to provide input to that
process.
Students are required to be at the confernce from 3pm Tuesday, May 1st to 1:30pm Thursday, May 3rd. They must arrange and cover their own transportation costs to and from the event.
Benefits: Students will receive free entrance to all workshop events, the
opportunity to influence the report drafting process, and will have their
names mentioned in the final workshop report. If necessary, students can
request housing in the workshop hotel, which will consist of a double
occupancy room with another student for 2-3 nights, depending on their assignment. While we will cover hotel rooms as needed, no additional funding is available for food or travel expenses.
